Walt/Steve,

Unless you're in it for the drama, I'd run away as fast as possible and never look back.  I've been here since April or so and it's constant sniping followed by full frontal attacks.  Then it calms down for a minute before it starts all over again.

I feel the same way. I have been reading the posts for the last week and 
feel reluctant to ask questions. I hope you guys get over this.

I’m looking at adding Allstar to my two repeaters, and recently joined this 
list to learn more about the technology. I don’t understand the internal 
struggles here, since this is all new to me. So far, I’ve seen a lot of 
unpleasantness.

This looks like an environment which I’m probably best to steer clear of, 
until things settle out.
