Does the D878 generate tones that sound ok on another DMR radio?

The node has been operating normal but recently I purchased a new radio, an Anytone D878uv. When I transmit DTMF codes, from the D878, to control the node it won't decode it. When I listen to the talkgroup using another radio the DTMF sounds normal. When I use other radios DTMF is decoded properly. Any suggestions?73,
