[App_rpt-users] Making allstar run on beaglebone

There are good reasons for supporting the beagle and using it over the raspberry pi which seems to have become everyone’s darling child. The specific merits of each board are probably beyond getting into here but please don’t flame me for the inquiry. There is beta hardware in place where the beagle is a more appropriate choice thus the inquiry. Others have pointed out thankfully that an image exists. Hopefully the 2 can be maintained without much effort in parallel.

How about an easy way to run what we are running now integrated into your 8 channel repeater and remote base controller without needing a separate pc on the hilltop? Sound interesting? The hardware is in beta, it just needs software and applications and I’m hoping asterisk/app_rpt/allstar could be one of those applications. So anyone interested in helping to get this going on beagle?
