We are continuing to work through how we want the final rule set to work. We think that ambe_audio will send vocoded frames to TS2, TG 9997. This way, in it's simplest form, AllStar will be available to a local repeater on that TS/TG with little configuration. This will protect other IPSC networks from connections to analog networks without their active participation. On 01/22/2016 11:07 AM, Robert Newberry wrote:
Is there any updates on progress of DMRgateway. Last I knew it was one way. I'm not complaining, I just got my DV3000 and I hope to start working on that this weekend. I have my repeater all ready to go up on the hill. I got my connections mostly secured to DMR-MARC and I got the contact information for brandmiester in the US. Looking forward to turning things loose.
Apparently me applying for a repeater ID, has started the rumor mill and my intentions has created some buzz. There is a local digital group up here with a c bridge that is the only game in town. They are mostly focused on emergency communications. I will be focused on fun and technical conversation.
Hopefully once this is up and running MMDVM will be next.
