Well I don't see an easy way to do it then. Anyone want to write a IAX2 client in javascript? http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc5456 is the standard.
Maybe the best way to do it is to modify what we have in Java
I'm thinking the "quick fix" would be to modify the existing Java (if we can find the sources).... and maybe look to replacing it with something better down the line.... 73, ~iain / N6ML
