you may try this for your squelch setting.. Bring up your CLI> Screen. If you have more that one URI or RIM, you must first select a USB device. 'example' CLI>radio active usb20123 Set your radio's squelch wide open for the next commands CLI>radio tune rxsquelch 'you'll get the Current Signal Strength is <some number like 695> now set the squelch setting between 100 to 150 points higher than the Current Signal Strength 795 to 845 CLI>radio tune rxsquelch 795 set you radio squelch on and check your results. next you save it CLI> radio tune save I'm sure there is more suggestions out there including the rxsquelchdelay=80 ; delay in ms carrier squelch tail eliminator in the usbradio.conf I've gotten it to work with carrierfrom=dsp and ctcssfrom=dspbut it seems others report it only to work with the rxdemod= set to flat. It may have to update ACID. More on that can be found in the archives. If I use squelch=dsp, then the crash is not there. But, the squelch action of the node receiver is not the best. I would really like to use COR but dislike the squelch burst. Is there a way to delay the audio and shut it off before the squelch closes? Like in a audio delay board for a repeater controller? Thanks for info that you could pass along. 73 Jim W7RY _______________________________________________ App_rpt-users mailing list App_rpt-users@ohnosec.org http://ohnosec.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/app_rpt-users
