(You could use wireless, but I think that is asking for trouble). Gigabit Ethernet fiber optic media converters are not that expensive on eBay ... I use several of them here. GL Ken

Maybe you ought to order just 1 for testing. I read in the URI write-up that just because it says USB 2.0 doesn't mean that it can keep up the data rate required:
