Just create a script as the 'playlist' where it calls individual playback commands for the files one at a time, then use cron to run the script when you want. Brett KQ9N On Wed, Oct 9, 2013 at 9:00 AM, Geoff <ars.w5omr@gmail.com> wrote:
Does asterisk support a playlist?
I want to play random announcements out on the repeater, and those linked, at various times of the day.
These files do not have to play in any order (and, they'd get old and predictable, anyway). The easiest way, I think, would be a playlist, then set a crontab for the command.
Is there a way to implement such a command as:
$> asterisk -rx "rpt playback [node] path/to/filename.pl"
??
How would you do something like this?
