Thats ok about not knowing - I'd started Asterisk thus: "asterisk -vvvgc" and I still don't get enough detail >.< What I might do is try unplugging the URI, then if that doesn't work, restarting the RPi. Lets see how we go...! Many thanks! On Fri, Nov 16, 2012 at 9:08 PM, Buddy Brannan <buddy@brannan.name> wrote:
Just a guess, but it sounds like your URI isn't being detected properly. I've seen something like that when my USB dongle isn't plugged in. I wonder if there's some issue with uSB audio or something?
Sorry, I don't have a RPi, and I really wish I knew more than i currently do. -- Buddy Brannan, KB5ELV - Erie, PA Phone: (814) 860-3194 or 888-75-BUDDY

Or - "Has this been asked a million times?"
After following the PDF:
http://kd3su.us/allStar/acid-sysadmin.pdf
To configure my RaspberryPi, I get the following error message:
WARNING[18342]: app_rpt.c:21848 rpt_master: rpt_thread restarted on node 099 -- Re-Loading config for repeater 099 rpt:Sorry unable to obtain Rx channel [Jan 7 13:46:12] ERROR[18342]: app_rpt.c:21831 rpt_master: Continual RPT thread restarts, killing Asterisk
And Asterisk promptly dies. After searching around on Google, and the usual places, I'm not able to find much on this, so I'm wondering if anyone can help me?
I've made the URI extension "099" and my two phones "101" and "102." Voicemail is "900" I believe (so its out of the way...).
Any insight will be welcomed, and I'll post up the contents of my config files if needed. I'm using Arch Linux on the RPi, with the latest SVN checkout from ohnosec.
If you need anything else to help diagnose the problem, let me know...
Many thanks!
