does anyone know how to slow down the beacon rate to the aprs servers. I think its like every 45 sec's and it should be 10 to 30 min's? Having this info gate to Local RF would be a disaster on the local APRS freq.

I "think" you'd have to edit the aprs code and recompile. Though I haven't actually tried it yet. I've noticed mine sends it out to aprs-is every 30 seconds.
