The phone portal is working and was configured to register with both the classic ASL servers and the new servers the board has used to fracture the network. The phone portals use nodes 2000-2003 for the servers. These nodes must be in your extnodes file and vice-versa for the connections to work. When you dial the 763-230-0000 or 509-ALLSTAR these get connected to any of the portal servers in a hunt group (providing redundancy), and then that server running asterisk/app_rpt connects out to your node based on the nodes list. Example: [nodes] 2000=radio@192.83.199.5:4569/2000,192.83.199.5 What has happened is the ASL board has now banned these servers from registering on their forked network, thus making them unable to register and pull a nodes list from the new ASL servers. This is not an issue with the phone portal, it's an issue with their servers.

If you use pttlink.org and register with that the phone portal will work on your nodes. See the prior post below for more information on how to effect this change to your node. http://lists.keekles.org/pipermail/app_rpt-users/2020-December/020948.html I would have posted this on the community site, but the ASL board members are now actively censoring and removing content on that site. This is unprecedented in the history of AllStar; banning users, censoring debate, and duplicity. -- Bryan Fields 727-409-1194 - Voice http://bryanfields.net
