We seem to have 3 times (adding up to, perhaps, 4 or 5 hours a day) of activity: 1. 6:00-8:00AM drive time. Usually 2-4 regular participants, with the occasional guest host 2. 4:30-7:00PM drive time. Same cast of characters as the morning, same occasional guest host(s) 3. Late night (10:00PM-11:30). Rag chews between friends in the NYC area. Occasionally, there is a period between 8-10PM where the northern NYC suburbs have their nightly rag chewing session. It's not the WAN system (which none of the trustees of the various repeaters necessarily want...), but, for a self-funded network of independently-owned repeaters (we all support each other, but the machines are all privately-owned), it's working just fine. -- Bryan D. Boyle <bdboyle@bdboyle.com> CC: app_rpt-users@ohnosec.org Bryan, can you describe in general terms the amount of repeater airtime this 4G usage numbers corresponds to? Such as 1 hour a day, 5 hours a day, 18 hours a day, etc. This may be an option for our group other than doing a VPN. tnx Mike / W5JR Alpharetta GA
