I have a Aastra 6757i on my desk at work and a Cisco something-another at home on my desk. Also using the Sipdroid app for Android on my HTC Droid Eris. On Thu, May 13, 2010 at 11:52 AM, Jeremy R. Geeo [KD0EAV] < kd0eav@clear-sky.net> wrote:

[...] if you're looking for something VERY inexpensive but functional, try Grandstream. I've been using them for years now....I've even got a small Grandstream HT286 (and wireless POTS phone) that I carry around with me to access my Asterisk box running apt_rpt! ...Works great with app_rpt running in VOX mode!

I'm in this camp as well. I've used MANY Grandstream GXP2000s and also use one of the HT286 at home - all hooked into Asterisk. They work like a charm! Very reasonable costs-wise.
