Just to be clear. I have installed Asterisk Allstar under Debian with dahdi but I never used the PCI card or anything else other than the USB fobs. I don't think missing/bad config file should cause a kernel Oops. If it does there is a major problem IMO.
Have a look at my detailed post about this issue. I'm willing to give anyone that know how to debug kernel modules access to the server (it's on public space) if they care to poke at it.
