I had at one point in time thought about using irlp Debian distribution and putting allstarlink on it to make an irlp allstar bridge but this created so much controversy.. I thought I had been burned on the Repeater antenna for talking about such thoughts.. I personally don't understand why irlp wishes to feel this way... The best thing to do with a IRLP node is to yank the hard drive,format it and bring it back up as a Allstar node and rip the IRLP interface board out, remove the SSI-202 chip and toss the rest in the trash.
