If you can get discriminator audio out of your radio then you should be able to use that on an unmodified dongle. That way you can have the RX node do the tone decoding and squelch. Not familiar with the Yaesu 2600 but if it has a packet connector you should find discriminator audio there. Might have to put theradio in 9600 baud mode to getthe right stuff on the connector. If not then you might want to look at at some other radios where you can get discriminator audio out. Jon VA3RQ On 6/30/2014 12:42 AM, Jim W7RY wrote:

Speaker is way more that that. What are you intending to sue for the receiver? Perhaps someone on this list will be familiar with your radio and can suggest a better place to get audio. -- Tim :wq On Jun 29, 2014, at 8:12 PM, Bradley Haney <hammin75@gmail.com <mailto:hammin75@gmail.com>> wrote:
Hello all we would like to extend our repeater receive area by putting in a receive site but with a different PL tone . we have an area that we lose HT coverage but can hear it fine from the main tx of the repeater site. . Could i just buy a USB FOB CM108 and not mod it and just plug in the speaker from the radio into the Mic of the dongle?
