Neil: Thanks for the information. The goal was to echo1=>node1 and echo2=>node2 with different traffic on each. Four connection points that could be mix or match. Also a tip of the hat to Jim Duuude ... who replied with the same information. ...STeve - KF5vh On 10/26/2015 1:29 PM, Neil k8it wrote:
Echolink has one restriction which will not allow you to do this. Echolink only permits one connection per external IP address. Allstar does not have this restriction. Best solution is to get another external IP address. Besides I don't understand why you need multiple echolink connections anyway as the software will permit multiple echolink connections with just one echolink node setup. So it sounds like your doing something unneeded

I am building a new AllStar Node, actually a dual node (one repeater, one simplex link). I would also like to have dual echolink connection services. So via echolink you could have connections to two different echolink callsigns. One tied to the first Allstar node, the second echolink instance would connect to the second Allstar node.
So far, I attempted to set up a second stanza, with a new stanza name [el1] and different echolink parameters and Allstar node numbers. It doesn't seem to work. Has anyone been able to do something like this? Clues?
