One of the cool things about Limey Linux is that it runs 100% in RAM. So you can make changes to your config files and then restart asterisk to reload. If the changes work as expected you can then svcfg. If the changes didn't work and you really screw things up you can reboot the machine and your previous configuration will be back. In Limey Linux you restart asterisk with the command "killall asterisk". Because there a daemon that is always checking to see if asterisk is up, it will automatically restart after you kill it. Well, one thing I did notice that is contributing to my issue is, every time i reboot my system, I end up with both usbradio.conf and simpleusb.conf files. Also, If I delete these files and reboot, they re-appear, and if I do modify either one of those files and reboot, they end up being overwritten loosing any changes that i have made. Not really sure of what happening here.
