The current (new) version of Dial for the RPiX has a new script, that, when booted, "says" the obtained IP address out the built-in audio line out jack. That way, it can "tell" you what its IP address is. I run all my systems headless and actually had an issue finding a monitor yesterday to install on a non server hardware lacking IPMI/iLO. Serial would be a nice to have on ttyS0, 115200n8 by default.
