It's very easy to build a multi-megabit wireless link to some remote site. All you need is clear line of sight to some location with Internet, and a pair of these Ubiquiti Nanobridge antennas. Easy to configure, point and shoot 20km links.
20km is a little over 12 Miles. That's a pretty big wifi hop by -any- standards...
