Uhm... ACID comes (or, did when *I* set my node up) on CentOS 5.x, as default. Why not use that, instead of building from scratch?

I was speaking in the context of creating a VM. That being said, I always prefer rolling my own. That way I control what is installed on the machine. 73, Steve N4IRS
