I've had the Echolink status page show a node as "OFF" and "ONLINE". The status page won't show a node at all unless it's wide open. We also connected two Allstar nodes together via Echolink for a quick 2 minute test, and a week later they were still showing as "In Conference" with each other on the Echolink list.
