[App_rpt-users] localplay command not keying radio

I currently have a simplex node set-up. When I use the command localplay, it doesn't key the radio. app_rpt shows it's playing the audio message but it doesn't key up the radio (red light of the URI "on"). Although, when I use playback, It does work and keys the radio without issue. I'm guessing for some reason it's because I am set-up as a simplex node?? further info- audio file is ulaw, I did try it with a gsm file and had the same effect. audio file is located in /var/lib/asterisk/sounds/messages, I added the directory " messages " for future custom repeater messages 852=localplay,messages/someaudiofile is in the functions stanza 52=*852# is located in the macro stanza Thanks
