We actually provide a backup service to our members. There is a script called savenode.sh that makes a copy of those files and sends them to our backup server, for your potential future retrieval.

Especially since I'm not using an eeprom URI.
I'm sure rpt.conf would be one file, others?
Being relatively new to ham radio, asterisk, and lacking in linux skills
I'm inevitably gonna screw something up.
