Thank you Steve, Next query..... in defining the macro to run when the timer expires, the example given is lnkactmacro=*52 ; Use macro 2 in the [macros] stanza for link activity timer Are the macro's all prefixed with a 5 when other parts of the system refer to them? This may explain why my startup macro has never worked for me! My startup macro is macro 1 and in my rpt.conf file I have startup_macro = *1 If I change this to *51 will it work now? HI, I'm trying to get this going on my node and I have looked at the documentation but cant work out where I need to add the text in rpt.conf
to
set it up.
Should it go in the Node stanza somewhere and is it critical where I put it?
Thanks,
Matt G4RKY Node 2250

Testing requested:
Version 0.182 of app_rpt.c supports a link activity timer. The link activity timer is documented here:
http://app-rpt.qrvc.com/node/93
Download app_rpt.c version 0.182 from here:
http://qrvc.com/viewvc/projects/allstar/astsrc-1.4.23-pre/trunk/asterisk/app...
This is to resolve Mantis feature request 0000010.

It can go anywhere in the node stanza...
