You also have to make sure your can resolve register.allstarlink.org. New ACID installs don’t seem to set up resolv.conf. So if you can’t ping google.com edit /etc/resolv.conf like so:
nameserver 8.8.8.8 nameserver 8.8.4.4
Or with your favorite DNS provider.
