Yeah, it was somewhat operator error but there is a screwy thing that happens, maybe by design I don't know. That is what threw me off. If you go into the account profile page and click on submit it takes you out of operator mode. and you lose the server and node icons. You then have to click again on operator mode checkbox at the bottom of the account page and submit. This is confusing because it says that operator mode is not reversible but I guess it is at least visually on the site. My friend, new to Allstar, got kicked out like this and was confused. 73 Doug WA3DSP http://www.crompton.com/hamradio Subject: Re: [App_rpt-users] Allstarlink.org site problems From: tim.sawyer@mac.com Date: Sat, 14 Dec 2013 19:49:58 -0800 CC: app_rpt-users@ohnosec.org To: doug@crompton.com Looks ok here. -- Tim :wq On Dec 14, 2013, at 7:29 PM, Doug Crompton <doug@crompton.com> wrote:The allstarlink.org site is screwed up tonight. I was helping a friend and he could not get back to his server/node entries. Then I went in to my page and the same thing, no server and no node icons. Then when I went to account profile it had the sysop block at the bottom unchecked. I tried checking it but then no submit button. 73 Doug WA3DSP http://www.crompton.com/hamradio _______________________________________________ App_rpt-users mailing list App_rpt-users@ohnosec.org http://ohnosec.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/app_rpt-users
