I have been using Acrobits Softphone on the iPhone set-up as a SIP reverse auto-patch into the app_rpt. It has worked very well.

He was able to register with my Asterisk box, but when he tried to dial an extension, I get the following error on the Asterisk CLI: [Jul 14 22:29:15] NOTICE[5187]: chan_iax2.c:9521 socket_process: Rejected connect attempt from <his_ip_address>, requested/capability 0x8/0x8 incompatible with our capability 0xe006. Interesting that most people here are using siphon on the iphone (probably because the iPhone has been out longer... I may try that on an iPod Touch that I have).
