I am in all honesty no expert with linux, still learning I got as far as logging into ssh & am now lost how to setup dial I've received 2 email responses which have left my head spinning any help is greatly appreciated

Ok some basic commands for linux using Debian Here are a few This will prompt you for a password: sudo su When your root you can do things such as edit folders with in the /etc/ and many other folders that may be needed to configure your node.. For text editor i use nano example nano /etc/asterisk/rpt.conf Now for other commands such as apt-get etc.. apt-get update apt-get upgrade apt-get install (program name) This is pretty much the basics..
