More questions on my first install.
I have got IAXRPT connecting to the Asterisk Server :D But when I send it *73 command for instance the message I get back is choppy and missing some of the audio. I am running this on a Intel D525 Motherboard with ACID install. Is this expected? Thanks Dave
Dave - It should work fine - High Fidelity even. I use both the D510 and D525 mobo's and they both work fine with iaxrpt access. I am using the ulaw codec (which I think is the default). Choppy audio could be some problem on your network/router (or your PC is really feeble) At the CLI try: iax2 show channels Look at the lag and jitter for the "gui" username - I got 51 ms lag and 138 ms jitter (which varies) Channel Peer Username ID (Lo/Rem) Seq (Tx/Rx) Lag Jitter JitBuf Format FirstMsg LastMsg IAX2/gui-2516 69.243.53.147 gui 02516/09521 00076/00067 00051ms 0138ms 0179ms ulaw Rx:NEW Tx:ACK IAX2/192.168.1.111:4 192.168.1.111 radio 02784/03962 00225/00138 00076ms 0000ms 0040ms unknow Tx:NEW Rx:ACK IAX2/192.168.1.110:4 192.168.1.110 radio 03352/05225 00196/00222 00049ms 0003ms 0049ms g726aa Rx:NEW Rx:ACK IAX2/192.168.1.110:4 192.168.1.110 radio 05225/03352 00222/00196 00049ms 0009ms 0049ms g726aa Tx:NEW Tx:ACK IAX2/192.168.1.109:4 192.168.1.109 radio 05263/01118 00151/00194 00078ms 0000ms 0040ms unknow Tx:NEW Rx:ACK IAX2/192.168.1.109:4 192.168.1.109 radio 05990/02682 00182/00242 00076ms 0015ms 0055ms g726aa Tx:NEW Rx:ACK IAX2/192.168.1.109:4 192.168.1.109 radio 08371/03225 00111/00025 00077ms 0000ms 0040ms unknow Tx:NEW Rx:ACK IAX2/192.168.1.113:4 192.168.1.113 radio 10896/00837 00024/00060 00078ms 0002ms 0047ms g726aa Rx:NEW Rx:ACK IAX2/192.168.1.112:4 192.168.1.112 radio 15595/01296 00058/00064 00057ms 0000ms 0040ms unknow Tx:NEW Tx:ACK 9 active IAX channels Ken From: app_rpt-users-bounces@ohnosec.org [mailto:app_rpt-users-bounces@ohnosec.org] On Behalf Of Dave Miller Sent: Thursday, December 20, 2012 7:40 PM To: App_rpt-users@ohnosec.org Subject: [App_rpt-users] More questions on my first install.
