The former AllStarLink, Inc. (“ASL”) Board of Directors were removed during a membership meeting. An invitation to conduct this meeting was sent to the then current Officers and Board members of ASL and the board acknowledged receipt. Prior to the meeting the board did not contact the member’s representative to object or seek to continue the meeting place or time. At the proposed time the meeting was conducted via Webex. The Chair pro-term (“Chair”) then accepted the proxies for members unable to attend and proceeded to conduct the meeting. A discussion was had identifying actions of the former ASL Board of Directors conducting business in violation of FS617 and other serious malfeasance. After this discussion and a finding of facts, motions were made to censure and then remove the board which passed by a unanimous vote. Additional actions taken during this meeting: --------------------------------------------- 1. Motions for candidates to serve as Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer forming the new ASL Board of Directors were made and passed by a unanimous vote. 2. A motion to propose, ratify and institute Organizational Bylaws for ASL was made and subsequently approved by a unanimous vote. These are the first Bylaws for ASL and were developed in an open process amongst the members. 3. A motion was made to remove specific volunteers from their position(s) on the technical committee and from any administrative functions within or on behalf of ASL. This motion was additionally approved by a unanimous vote. Due to serious concerns regarding the current state of ASL’s business, administrative, and financial affairs, as well as the unconscionable actions taken by the former ASL Board of Directors, it became apparent that action must be taken to ensure the continued existence, growth and success of the organization. With the adoption of the new Bylaws, ASL has both reaffirmed its purpose and what it means to be a member. In addition ASL has corrected serious deficiencies in the organizational structure intended to prevent the recurrence of such abuse. The ASL Board of Directors looks forward to a renewed and reinvigorated organization that consists of both a multinational board and volunteers to reflect its true global reach. ASL remains committed to safeguarding and ensuring the continued operation of the ASL network, continued development and innovation of app_rpt and related code. In this way we honor and preserve the legacy of the late Jim Dixon, creator of AllStarLink. I assume this is an April Fools joke. If you are serious, what Articles of Incorporation or Bylaws are you claiming gave you the authority to do this. I for one would like to see them. Who are you claiming are the members? Why didn' we all hear about this meeting? On Sat, Feb 27, 2021 at 12:39 AM PTTLink Admin via App_rpt-users < app_rpt-users@lists.keekles.org> wrote:

I would also like to see all the proxy's and who was in attendance at this meeting. Why is everything so cryptic? This reminds me of the original PTTlink emails that use the term Admin team only for us to find out later that Stacy was the only volunteer on the Admin team. The first motions made were to elect a Chair and Secretary pro-term to conduct the meeting.
Additional actions taken during this meeting:

Effective 14 February 2021, the following former board members were censured and formally removed from their roles as members of the ASL Board of Directors:
- Peter Elke, WI6H, President - Timothy Sawyer, WD6AWP, Vice President - Todd Lesser, KM6RPT, Secretary - David Shaw, WB6WTM, Treasurer - Kevin Custer, W3KKC, Director
Furthermore, effective 14 February 2021 the following volunteers were formally relieved of their position(s) within the technical committee and from any administration functions of and for ASL:
- Andrew Lauppe, NB8P - Adam Paul, KC1KCC - Rob Vella, KK9ROB - Mike Wolthuis, KB8ZGL
The actions of 14 February were not taken without deliberate measured contemplation by the members.

I am sick and tired of hearing about PTTlink on the AllStarLink forum. Who is PTTLink? Why am I getting emails from PTTLink Admin about AllStarLink? If I have to send a Cease and Desist letter to Gandi.net via my attorney. I will. It will be the best $55 dollars I have spent on AllStarLink in a long time. Under California "New" "Data Privacy Law" and the "Florida Information Protection Act of 2014" I have the right to know what is going on with my Data in any state. As one of the earliest adopters to AllstarLink. (node 2060) I think I have a right to know. -- David KE6UPI On Sun, Feb 28, 2021 at 9:03 AM Watson Jones <watjones12@gmail.com> wrote:

On the afternoon of 14 February 2021, AllStarLink, Inc. had a members meeting. This meeting was called to discuss several pressing issues regarding actions of the AllStarLink Board of Directors.
ASL is a Florida Not-for-Profit Corporation, governed by Florida Statute 617 (“FS617”), and the meeting was conducted accordingly.
On 14 February 2021, the members meeting started at 1300 Eastern / 1000 Pacific. As none of the former ASL Board of Directors were present, a decision to wait an additional 10 minutes was made. 16 members attended this meeting and an additional 14 proxy votes were assigned by members unable to attend.
After the additional 10 minute wait passed, the meeting was called to order by a vote of the members as none of the former ASL Board of Directors were present and/or accounted for. The first motions made were to elect a Chair and Secretary pro-term to conduct the meeting.
Effective 14 February 2021, the following former board members were censured and formally removed from their roles as members of the ASL Board of Directors:
* Peter Elke, WI6H, President * Timothy Sawyer, WD6AWP, Vice President * Todd Lesser, KM6RPT, Secretary * David Shaw, WB6WTM, Treasurer * Kevin Custer, W3KKC, Director
Furthermore, effective 14 February 2021 the following volunteers were formally relieved of their position(s) within the technical committee and from any administration functions of and for ASL:
* Andrew Lauppe, NB8P * Adam Paul, KC1KCC * Rob Vella, KK9ROB * Mike Wolthuis, KB8ZGL
The actions of 14 February were not taken without deliberate measured contemplation by the members.

David, From what I have been able to gather, this is the apt_rpt-users list (under control of PTTLink) not the allstarlink forum. I think that may be a big part of the confusion. You, as I have, probably joined the group long ago. I have noticed cross posting to both lists, that adds to the confusion. Not sure I helped, Gerald WD0FYF On 2/28/2021 12:50 PM, David S wrote:

Who is PTTLink? Why am I getting emails from PTTLink Admin about AllStarLink? If I have to send a Cease and Desist letter to Gandi.net via my attorney. I will. It will be the best $55 dollars I have spent on AllStarLink in a long time.
Under California "New" "Data Privacy Law" and the "Florida Information Protection Act of 2014" I have the right to know what is going on with my Data in any state. As one of the earliest adopters to AllstarLink. (node 2060) I think I have a right to know.

Gerald, When you, David and I joined that list it was under the "control" and for the allstarlink community but on the server of Brian Fields. Brian was kind enough to keep it running. Later on it was decided by the board of director that a newer type of support was needed to keep things rolling. Tim managed to collect all the messages and transferred them to the community server at allstarlink.org It was then asked of Brian to remove the list from his server. He decided to keep it dormant. without advising the board of directors. He then later on resigned and the list came back online. That was the first move of the pttlink saga. And we are now up to the point that they are trying to make us believe that the 3 have been elected as the BoD for allstarlink. If anyone was still not understanding why they were kicked out of the admin team. here you have a pretty good idea why. Pierre VE2PF Le dim. 28 févr. 2021 à 14:17, Gerald <wd0fyf@cox.net> a écrit :

PTTlink - Stacy Olivas, KG7QIN - Bryan Fields, W9CR - Jeremy Lincicome, W0JRL. In my opinion, you three are a bunch of wackos, ignorant, and delusional. Commenting on the handle I made when I joined this list is a complete Red Herring trying to distract people from the real issues I pointed out in my posts. Which, by the way, you still have failed to answer. You are just like a child trying to cause drama to get attention. I thought it finally calmed down on this list. When there isn't drama, you create it. You took it too far this time with your unsupported claims that you are now the board of allstarlink and somehow entitled to take it over. Get a wife, a husband, a boyfriend, a girlfriend, a cat, a dog, or a life outside of this. Concerning my comments about Github and the IP addresses, I am simply commenting on your delusion manifesto. http://lists.pttlink.org/pipermail/pttlink/2021-January/000007.html I am not going to comment on all the other incorrect information on there. Steve Zingman set up the Github account for Allstarlink Inc. He was the person who created Allstarlink Inc. You had no right to change the email address from developers@allstarlink.org no matter how you felt it was being handled. If you didn't like how it was being handled, you were free to stop using it. No wonder they asked you to stop volunteering. You are a charity's nightmare. You could have forked it. Gee, I don't like the way you take care of your car. You don't get enough oil changes. Therefore, in order to protect the car, I am going to take it away from you. I don't like the way you are taking care of your garden so I am just going to take your house. If you don't like the way an organization is being run, then you should stop volunteering. You don't get to claim ownership and steal things. Didn't you learn that in kindergarten or from your mommy or daddy? I am not going to get into all your incorrect information about your IP address story. Nevertheless, once again, those IP addresses are not yours to protect for Allstarlink Inc or ARIN. Call it as it is - you took them for your personal use by the PTTlink web page you set up. You simply stole them. It is no different than I can't take your car because I don't like the way you are treating it. By the way, are you ever going to tell us the story of how you obtained pttlink.org that was originally registered to Jim Dixon? Did you violate your fiduciary responsibility or were you just once again taking something to protect it just like you did with the Github and IP addresses. I am tired of all the misinformation coming from: Stacy Olivas, KG7QIN - Bryan Fields, W9CR, Jeremy Lincicome, W0JRL. The board didn't break DNS. No one needs to change the configuration to switch to PTTlink. Stop with the lies. There is no mention of anything you are claiming on the Allstarlink web page or on Community.allstarlink.org. You have provided no documentation to support your claim. You all need to take a reality pill and get a life. No wonder the board got rid of all of you. Frankly, even Hamvoip stopped complaining about the registration server going down once the board implemented the new registration server. You are a butch of big babies. I can't believe you stole the Github account and the IP address of Jim Dixon.
Wait, I just elected myself King of the app_rpt mailing list. I held a meeting with myself. Yah, yah, that is the ticket. I am the new Governor of California. I mean the president of the United States. Yah, that is the ticket.

On the afternoon of 14 February 2021, AllStarLink, Inc. had a members meeting. This meeting was called to discuss several pressing issues regarding actions of the AllStarLink Board of Directors.
* Andrew Lauppe, NB8P * Adam Paul, KC1KCC * Rob Vella, KK9ROB * Mike Wolthuis, KB8ZGL
The actions of 14 February were not taken without deliberate measured contemplation by the members.
AllStarLink Board of Directors: ------------------------------- Stacy Olivas, KG7QIN - Chairman Bryan Fields, W9CR - Secretary Jeremy Lincicome, W0JRL - Treasurer

David S, My comment to this whole fiasco... First I get your frustration. However what is posted here IS NOT ON THE ALLSTARLINK FORUM. It move away years back. Please read on ..... A while back Allstarlink.org was moved to a different server platform. This move evidently upset some previous volunteers who had so graciously providing services for Allstar for may years and split began between old and new policy makers. It was stated by the newly created PTTlink group that they intended to eliminate all current Allstar Member's data from their Volunteer Donated Hosting Servers after a certain date. (would have to hunt the date but been quite a while past now) People were given the option to remain a member of what would become a newly created PTT group. If you didn't choose to sign uo and become one of their new members, you and your Allstar data would be automatically purged from their newly created system. According to that posting people like you and me should not be getting emails from the PTTlink group unless you specifically asked to become a member of PTTlink or subscribed to their new mailing list at app_rpt-users@lists.keekles.org. Evidently that promised deletion of our data didn't happen as I and many others get mailings from a mailing list which I haven't subscribed to. Since PTTlink's mailing list does not contain content published by the official Allstar Community's mailing list it therefore serves no purpose for me. PTTlink does continue to confuse those who haven't made the distinction that neither PTTlink nor its mail list "app_rpt-users@lists.keekles.org" have NO affiliation with allstarlink.org and its Community mail list platform. PTTlink's mail list is evidently populate with the data captured from an old allstalink.org app_rpt-users list. Supposedly closed and abandoned in the past by Allstarlink.org when they moved to the Community Platform for their Allstar mail list. (app_rpt-users@community.allstarlink.org) The lack of promised deletion of Allstar user info by the past Admin volunteers from their servers is why many are still being sent unwanted emails by PTTlink In my case I have created a spam filter for PTTlink I must admit I, occasionally when bored, view a message or two just for entertainment before dumping the trash filter. (the reason this reply to your post is a bit late). I've noticed that it is now mainly individual members from both groups who are guilty of fanning the flames and adding to peoples confusion. Not the controlling folks of either platform who had the disagreement. They seem to have let thing quiet down. Perhaps in time things will eventually mend and the pot stirrers will grow up. Under California "New" "Data Privacy Law" and the "Florida Information Protection Act of 2014" I have the right to know what is going on with my Data in any state. As one of the earliest adopters to AllstarLink. (node 2060) I think I have a right to know.

Oh good. I'm glad the bylaws and other bits as posted now. Steve what about the FCC? Is that a trick as well? Seems legit to me.
You mean someone committed fraud on the FCC? Just because you send a letter to the FCC saying you have authority to do something doesn't actually give you the authority to do it. If you notice, Stacy didn't post the original Bylaws. He only posted his new bylaws. Anyone can write up new bylaws. It would be like me creating new bylaws for Apple Inc and putting them on a web page. Just because I type up new bylaws doesn't mean I ever had the authority to change the original bylaws. I am still waiting to see the original bylaws they claim gave them authority to do this. On Sun, Feb 28, 2021 at 10:07 PM PeteM via App_rpt-users < app_rpt-users@lists.keekles.org> wrote:

Fraud? Very interesting indeed. Do you have proof of such an act? Or is this merely conjecture on your part? I do wonder though if you are just complaining to complain? Other than the statements published I see no ill intent from the PTTlink (now Allstarlink?) folks here. Quite to the contrary of what we have witnessed from everyone else including me. Some of the statements they have published have been very insightful. They give a peek into what can only be best described as a chaotic organisation on the brink of catastrophe. Let me put it another way. What are you intentions here making potentially false accusations? I say potentially just due to what I have witnessed from this group tends to be well reasoned and mostly thought out. I have found that asking questions in a constructive way goes much farther than spewing accusations and hyperbole. And yes I am well aware of my hypocrisy.
I asked a simple question. Under what authority did Stacy, Bryan and Jeremy have that gave them the authority to vote themselves in and then subsequently create new bylaws. You can't just do this because you want to. There has to be some legal authority. If there is some legal authority to allow this, they should show it. Otherwise, all we see is their actions after. This is no question. This is an accusation steeped in conjecture meant to evoke a negative emotional response. On Sunday, February 28, 2021 10:21 PM, Steve Jason <sj38200d@gmail.com> wrote:

I again see no valid question yet I do see more conjecture in an attempt to evoke a negative emotional response. I do believe the answer you are looking for is contained within the statement that started this non technical diarrhea storm. May I suggest you revisit it and put aside your preconceived notions and biases and make a good faith attempt to understand it? I most emphatically recommend that you post any questions without any conjecture or potentially inflammatory statements. I have found people are more amicable towards such and likely to answer. Personally I do not wholeheartedly agree with what has happened. I am hopeful that this is resolved quickly
I saw a question. Let me rephrase the question for him. "The answers you seek are contained herein. Read to understand and comprehend and not just to speak." As a fortune cookie once told me. I was too naive at the time to realize it was true.
I just checked on the FCC web page and it shows that they switched it back to Tim Sawyer. It appears that the FCC investigated it and doesn't agree with you. Under Florida law only the bylaws or articles of incorporation can establish who are "members" of a non-profit corporation. There are no requirements in Florida for non-profits to even have members! You stated in your minutes that there were no bylaws and therefore you were adopting some. I just don't see how you can legally claim your group of 16 people are "members." If I was you, I would be worried about filing documents with the government or anyone else for that matter, claiming you are now the board of the corporation. Actually, if you go to the actual allstarlink.org web page or go on community.allstarlink.org (the official forum for support for allstarlink), you will see that Allstarlink is doing great. In fact, they have seen close to a 10% growth in the last couple of months. Allstarlink now has over 5500 nodes connected at any one time. I guess, any news, is good news. Eventually, either this handful of PTTlink people will just stop posting this stuff and get a life or everyone will unsubscribe from this email list. That’s a real rosy picture but there has to be some reason a group feels so strongly as to divide as they have so both sides needs to do much better.

Ah well there is this which was posted to reddit. Lots of questions come to mind here
I'm new to hamradio and have been doing a lot of reading. Today when looking around on Google I ran across this: https://online.flippingbook.com/view/445217450/
It seems to be a link for some experimental digital mode but I'm not sure about it.
Under what has been removed: https://www.reddit.com/r/amateurradio/comments/m2lemi/new_digital_mode_indee... seems to be from: https://www.reddit.com/r/AllStarlink/comments/m2jj4s/new_digital_mode/ Nasty stuff. So much questionable behaviour. Makes one ill looking at it. I believe you are right that allstarlink is going by the way side. There is one Sad that we also see a condemnation post just send here too. I have a question for AllStarLink's Board of Directors and I don't care which group answers me. Both can if they want. My question: What is the end for all of this? We keep seeing shit being flung everywhere. People are getting tired of it. The harassment, petty hate fill postings to reddit and here, and now the collateral damage. When does it end?
