Newbie-type question regarding Node Stanza & Telemdefault command
Hello, I've been searching through my email archive and the Asterisk documentation for help in changing my node configuration so it doesn't announce all of the remote node connect / disconnect messages over my node. If I read things correctly, the change should be made in rpt.conf with Telemdefault=1 and changed to =2. For some reason I do not find this line in my rpt.conf file. I am using Dial with Debian, although I plan to move to a Raspberry Pi 3 before long. Thanks! holdofftelem = 0 ; Hold off all telemetry when signal is present on receiver or from connected nodes ; except when an ID needs to be done and there is a signal coming from a connected node. telemdefault = 1 ; 0 = telemetry output off ; 1 = telemetry output on (default = 1) ; 2 = timed telemetry output on command execution and for a short time thereafter. telemdynamic = 1 ; 0 = disallow users to change the local telemetry setting with a COP command, ; 1 = Allow users to change the setting with a COP command. (default = 1) On 8/15/2016 1:55 PM, n0km@arrl.net wrote:
