Okay, the ACID distro is working once again.. Go ahead and install away!! BTW, for those of you who had failed installs because of this, you can log into your failed system as 'root' with the password of 'setup'. Once logged in, you can restart the phase2 part of the install by typing 'sh /etc/rc.d/phase2.sh'. JIM WB6NIL
Jim, I missed my password a couple times on the website, and I think it locked me out of doing anything with my nodes. Could you please reset that for me? Thanks! 8-Dale -- I can handle complexity. It's the simple things that confound me. Open your mind, Read, Learn, Think, Apply. 73, from NPKT! http://www.hybotics.com - NEW main site Just because we can, does it follow that we should?
My 3 systems now updated to ver 2.66 I was happy to see the one with E/L ... connection by way of proxy server worked right away, and actually gave the correct call sign. You may have fixed two things with that. Good job, Jim. 73 Ken
The last time I tried this, it prompted me to press "enter" to start the setup, but after a minute it started on it's own. Is that still the case? Quoting Jim Duuuude <telesistant@hotmail.com>:

Ah yes, I remember that thread on the mailing list. Fixed a long time ago in SVN. Take a look at isolinux.cfg on your acid install disk with an iso reader such as isomaster(linux). Timeout should be set to 0: default linux prompt 1 timeout 0 display boot.msg F1 boot.msg label linux kernel vmlinuz append initrd=initrd.img ks=cdrom If not, download a fresh CD image from http://dl.allstarlink.org/installcd and take a look again.
