It's time to dust off my old quad PCI interface card and get it back in service. Looking for suggestions on a "smallish" footprint computer that might house the board on a 90 degree PCI adaptor to conserve space. I would prefer something that will operate from a 12 Volt supply - if that's possible... Anyone been there, done that? Suggestions? Thanks John / WB5NFC

https://www.supermicro.com/products/system/1U/5017/SYS-5017A-EP.cfm That's what I use at our site, 3 repeaters on the PCI card, two voters. It runs fine. I did cut a hole in the side to be able to adjust the pots on the PCI card. Here are some pics of it: http://gallery.keekles.org/v/Radio_stuff/PCIradio/ 73's -- Bryan Fields 727-409-1194 - Voice http://bryanfields.net
John, I've used the "M3-ATX-HV 95W 6-34V Intelligent Wide Input DC-DC Power Module for Automotive" (Amazon.com) with computers, replacing the multi-voltage power supply, powered from automotive voltage (e.g. 13.8 VDC). There are a range of these devices, some just 12 VDC, vs automotive compatible, so it pays to look at their website for the application. Hope this helps, Bob k6ecm _____ From: app_rpt-users-bounces@ohnosec.org [mailto:app_rpt-users-bounces@ohnosec.org] On Behalf Of John Sent: Monday, August 15, 2016 10:10 AM To: App_rpt-users@ohnosec.org Subject: [App_rpt-users] Quad PCI Interface Computer Suggestions It's time to dust off my old quad PCI interface card and get it back in service.
