App_rpt support to AMI Events (https://github.com/ismaelisuani/rpt_events)
Hi Jim, I've added support to receive events via AMI when app_rpt updates RPT_* variables and when MDC-1200 and DTMF are detected, without the need for pooling sending commands via AMI. You can see the changes here: https://github.com/ismaelisuani/rpt_events/commit/dcc61ebef5ecc405a5e3839be5... Is it possible to include this feature to current project? Regards. Ismael Isuani
I think that would be entirely likely :-). It may take some time, since I have been MASSIVELY busy lately, and am sick today, however I will take a look at this at the earliest possible time. On these (sadly) rare occasions when someone make a contribution in this manner, I am reminded how AMAZING open-source is!! I really want to thank you and others who have done this. Ok thanks Jim, I hope that you feel better soon! In the master branch are the latest changes. I'm also working on two more features to app_rpt if anyone is interested in contributing: 1) Include support decoding of Selective Calling. For now I have implemented the followings tone sets: CCIR, EEA, EIA, ZVEI1, ZVEI2, ZVEI3 2) RPT web client. I'm using WebRTC protocol and WebSockets as follows: Browser (JsSIP) --- (WebRTC / WebSockets) ---> Asterisk 11 ---(trunking)---- Asterisk 1.4 (Rpt) --- Radio both projects under development and testing but are working well! This looks extremely interesting. I can see Allmon switching to using events rather than poling. -- Tim WD6AWP
