Thanks... I've noticed the layout is different in Pickle than in ACID. It is where you said it should be in ACID. In Pickle its /usr/bin/dircolors The file is not very readable using CAT, so it's not clear how to modify it. Studying the Linux explanation in hopes of understanding this version. Pickle dircolors was written by GNU, so may have to go through their users group.
