I'm so tired of this junk. FRC has followed their bylaws, just repeater coordination is not a black and white issue. The FRC tries to accommodate repeater builders as they can with technical issues. Such as coordinating a repeater closer than the 85 mile separation when 2 repeaters are low and have low coverage and interference will not be a problem. Also when repeaters are very high, like 1000 ft they go beyond the normal separation limits based on the technical issues. Bryan needs to get a life and understand he know little. No way I will give him my proxy vote. 73, ron, n9ee/r a know code Extra Ron Wright, N9EE/R BSEE Micro Computer Concepts 352-683-4476 mccrpt@tampabay.rr.com ________________________________ From: FRC-Info <frc-info-bounces@lists.keekles.org> on behalf of Bryan Fields <Bryan@bryanfields.net> Sent: Tuesday, October 4, 2016 11:57 AM To: Florida Repeater Council Discussion Subject: Re: [FRC] Updated Proxy Form/Membership On 10/4/16 11:11 AM, mccrpt@tampabay.rr.com wrote:
I think you will see the FRC meeting are ran much differently than you think. It is not a place where members make motions and the group votes. Members may make suggestions and the board votes.
I care not how they have been run in the past in violation of the bylaws, but I can assure you this meeting will be proper or they will be held liable.
I for one do not want typical Hams making technical decisions especially those that have not built repeaters. Being a club member on a repeater board is a joke.
One could argue the same about the current board. The lack of operational knowledge is apparent in this organization.
If you wish to get involved in FRC's working I'd suggest you run for your district director. For me I'd stay with the one I have. He has responded and taken care of my repeater business well. I am in district 4 that does handle Tampa Bay.
It's clearly been shown the current district 4 leadership has proven themselves unable to fulfill the duties of their position. There needs to a response from them, other than name calling.
