Tampa site announcement
by Bryan Fields 31 Oct '20

31 Oct '20

On Saturday October 31, 2020, from 6 AM EST to 10 PM EST the building will be doing power work. This will result in an interruption to all our operations at the Tampa site and as it's the hub for HamWAN, we will have an outage to our internet gateway. Our St Pete Site will be unaffected. I've been told the outage will likely be less that the 16 hours scheduled, but that is the service window we've been given. 73's -- Bryan Fields, W9CR Florida Simulcast Group, Inc.

How Electrostatic Discharge works and damages things. This is a video from the 1980's and I can't imagine anything like this being given in a university today. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uk5F3rQNUkU -- Bryan Fields, W9CR Florida Simulcast Group, Inc.
