Thanks for the update on the A/C. Was wondering how that ended up. As far as temp monitoring, for a commercial/professional (paid) product, this seems to be lowest-cost PoE capable (realize thats not requirement), SNMP capable unit I find with decent reviews: Room Alert 3E ($185 USD): https://www.amazon.com/Room-Alert-RA3E-3E/dp/B00VXLUIYS Alternatively, if one of us wants to build a Orange Pi Zero-powered version of temperature monitor, it might cost a bit less, not sure about effectiveness/reliability... Plans here: https://www.norwegiancreations.com/2017/06/do-it-yourself-snmp-temperature-m... Board general cost here (about $10 USD+ plus parts etc.): https://www.aliexpress.com/store/group/H2/1553371_511831299.html Byron On Mon, Mar 25, 2019 at 3:16 PM Bryan Fields <bryan@flscg.org> wrote:
Ryan and I made a trip up the the Tampa site yesterday and replaced the AC unit. We've now got a full ton on AC up in the room, the AC just fit into the 24" open space we had. https://i.imgur.com/Bx73GYF.jpg
We also replaced the PA fan on the 224.280 repeater.
We got 3 years on the prior AC unit, which was used, it was installed in April 10, 2016 right after we moved in there. 12k BTU's should be good enough as we're in a 10x30 300 sqft shelter.
We still need a solution to monitor the temp up there, perhaps into SNMP for alarming. If anyone has an idea for this please let us know.
