from the looks of your screenshot, your receive PL is set incorrectly. You also might be in talkaround mode on the radio. If this is the case, the radio ignores the transmit configuration and will revert to the setting for the RX PL when it transmits, but also transmit on the RX freq + 0.0 MHZ (which is the RX frequency itself). I'm not familiar with the software, but it's worth setting the other PL column to the PL of the repeater to see what happens. kris On 2/11/16 9:34 PM, xloner12 wrote:

Started walking to the bus this morning and Jerry was able to hear me once I was maybe 300 to 400 feet out from my house. I was also getting a lot of staic last night and this morning in my house and out in front by the street. On Fri, Feb 12, 2016 at 1:34 AM, Kris O'Connell <compuman81@gmail.com> wrote:

Matt is the trustee for the 444.575 repeater but he's got another dstar repeater much lower in north Tampa on that frequency now. As it is he's not had the opportunity to move the dstar to another channel yet. As this was a proof of concept repeater only to test the building penetration it accomplished that, anything else is a bonus. Compounding this problem is the test repeater up there is set to require PL to activate it, but only carrier squelch to keep it keyed. This means that once activated it can be held open by the dstar repeater. It's a wonderful feedback loop. 73's -- Bryan Fields, W9CR Florida Simulcast Group, Inc.
Neither repeater are coordinated so what good is complaining to FRC? On Fri, Feb 12, 2016 at 9:32 AM, Bryan Fields <bryan@flscg.org> wrote:

We've got a coordination pending for 444.575. The FRC is basically useless at this point, please tell them that at their meeting Saturday in Orlando. The lunacy of it, the 900 MHz repeater is still not coordinated after a year since the application was put in. It's a good-ol-boy organization that does not use any technical standards for coordination. -- Bryan Fields, W9CR Florida Simulcast Group, Inc.
