I use virtualbox to test ACID install scripts. I wouldn't run a real node like this though, i'd use a
dedicated PC.

It should be consistently blinking, if its random, then maybe there's not
enough CPU horsepower to keep up with the DSP code in chan_usbradio.

nodesetup.sh is your friend.
