I think the audio out lines on the back plane are de-emphasized or
flat to 3k then it rolls off. Either way In this case that is not what
you want. If you were connecting to a hardware controller and using the
cas/RX mute then it works just fine.
In the case of using DSP squelch and DSP L decode by the fob/ URI it
must be connected to the Discriminator. You could also set your node to
speaker out instead of flat and use the USB for the cas connection.
That should work too.
I personally like using the DSP Squelch and DSP tone as it is very quick
- no squelch busts! That is... if you have the RX squelch set right. ;-)
