Tim, I had the nodes stanza correct as you indicate, it just didn't work.
but
Got it workinmg after a chat with Steve Agee
He was mentioning port numbers, so this AM looked at the two node stanzas
again and noticed a difference.
In http://ohnosec.org/drupal/node/41 the info is incorrect.
It shows this:
[nodes]
1234 = radio at 127.0.0.1/1234,NONE,y ; Remote base node
5678 = radio at 127.0.0.1/5678,NONE ; Standard nodeThe mentioning of ports got
me thinking and I looked at the 1998 node stanza in rpt.conf. In the older
system (2360) there is a port number after the ip address:
1998 = radio at 192.168.0.132:4569/1998,NONE
in 1998 the reverse was not true to get to 2360:
2360 = radio at 192.168.1.111/2360,NONE <-------agrees with the documentation,
though
changed it to:
2360 = radio at 192.168.1.111:4569/2360,NONE <-----------added port number as
in my older distro on 2360 box
Works fine.
Thanks for the input, guys.
Especially Steve who connected to my radio last night and we had a great
chat about it.
