So?

Andrew Jackson once opined that it's a poor mind that can't figure more
than one way to spell a word...same applies here.

Creativity is called for; if it doesn't exist...well, how about figuring
out either via scripting, bit banging, or other functionality how to
accomplish the equivalent through other means?

Not every possible combination can be predicted by a software author.
That's why capabilities are provided to 'roll your own' and it's running
on the OS platform it is running on: if it's not in the application,
there is some way YOU can, using the rich set of tools that are freely
provided, do what needs be done.

We can't expect Jim to do everything.
