Yup...got it all working, after a fashion.

Now to write the cross-server scripts, and so forth.  May go the ssh
route to get rid of Mr. Robot 'By Your Command' that gets propagated
throughout our network...

Thanks all, for your insights and guidance.  Sometimes, you just have to
