Why a service monitor? A deviation meter wont do it?

You know, that's so true. It's really important for you (or a friend) to have a service monitor and the knowledge to use it properly. App_rpt makes setting up a node so much easier and accurate than any of the other VoIP technologies, which is one of the reasons app_rpt sounds so good, but you still have to know what your are doing. My "App_rpt Install for Dummies" focused on the computer setup and assumes you're a radio wiz.
