[App_rpt-users] Static IP Setup

If you switch to a static IP then you must add a nameserver in the
/etc/resolv.conf file.
If you have a node setup with DHCP the name server will already be in
the resolv.conf. But if you are static the resolv file gets cleared out.
I ususally use an open dns like:
nameserver 8.8.8.8
