See my notes in your config file.  I'm going to ass/u/me you're getting
your audio off of the discriminator, for flat-audio.  If you try to use
speaker audio, you can't use DSP.

That's how it works on my 2m simplex node, using a Yaesu FT-8800 and the
packet port.
