[App_rpt-users] usbradio_tune_xxxxx.conf where .conf =.confusion

Ah yes... DIAL is a bit different than ACID.

For DIAL I get

Bus 001 Device 004: ID 0d8c:013a C-Media Electronics, Inc.

and

devstr=1-1.4:1.0

but this works also

devstr=1-4

Don't know.

Yup, tried that early on with no luck. Then tried using the (W) command in
both radio-tune-menu or simpleusb-tune-menu. The <bus>-<dev> listed in the
tuning files does not match what the "lsusb" command reports. Well, the
<bus> matches, but NOT the <dev>. On a working ACID install under same
conditions, I have two (count them two) different tuning files where
"devnum=3" go figure, and it works!

run lsusb at the command line, then set devstr=<bus>-<device> for the
device(s) shown. Your example is for Bus 004 Device 002.

Hello list:

I've searched

  <http://www.xelatec.com/xipar/node/180>
<http://www.xelatec.com/xipar/node/180>

and I fully understand the description/explanations given. What I don't
understand, with specific attention to the lines:

; name=usb ;
; devnum=1 ;
devstr=4-2 ;

is how to manually uncomment, and manipulate them. In this particular
instance, I'm trying to get a DIAL box running with one original URI (early
version) using the USBRADIO channel driver, and one URIX (newer version)
using the SIMPLEUSB channel driver. I've followed the step-by-step (or was
that Crossbar 5 Duude?) instructions for starting off with a single node,
then adding the second node. That simply doesn't work. The second URIx green
L.E.D. stays solid throughout the process. Are these lines provided for
informational purposes only, or can they be edited to force the second
device to be recognized and assigned?
