Yeah I couldn’t get DTMF to pass to the repeater to do an old fashioned reboot to the system.. We might just have to put a tot timer back on the cm200’s What concerns me about this is how random it occurred again we had no issues up until Sunday makes me wonder if its not hardware that has gone bad some where along the line in process.. At the moment I am using another motherboard and processor along with new sticks of ram and a different SSD.. Considering doing some test over the next week prior to putting my repeaters back online..

If you wish to sort through what I have recovered and give me your thoughts and opinions of what went wrong please do! Here is the information that I have gathered.. Again was not able to access /var/log/ folder But I did capture all audio files from the archive directory..

The /var/log folder was my mistake I was trying to rush things..

Here are examples of my configs..

Here are some photos.

Pico 12 Volt Atx power supply:

We assume it is working correctly it is powering the motherboard and hard drives all voltages seem to match everything.
DMKENG URI units:

At the moment these units seem like they are functioning properly.

At the moment I feel the motherboard and processor combination is working ok. Still doing some more tests.. I am looking for a Linux based Benchmark software to push this unit in order to find issues..
Intel SSD:

I am questioning this hard drive after all it is one of the earlier generation SSD’s

Again I want to thank everyone for the help so far in ideas!

I haven't had a stuck PTT on either AllStar controller.  But, I do have a DTMF command that executes a Linux reboot.   In rpt.conf it looks like ...
81234=cmd,/sbin/reboot
It seems to work OK.  It might work on PTT stuck if the receiver is still listening and some of the software is functional.

Good point Keven! We are using DmKeng URIx for both repeaters on the computer.. At the time of arrival out at the repeater site.. 2 meter repeater was not stuck in the open position but the UHF repeater was stuck open with Red light on on the URIx I do not believe the green heart beat was flashing we think it was solid.. Mark doesn’t remember other than the red led was solid..

There are no versions of Asterisk/app_rpt along with hardware that are stable enough to prevent this condition from ever happening.

You may want to consider a radio adapter that disables the PTT when the application has crashed or stopped, there's a hardware malfunction, or a communications issue with the radio adapter.  The URI doesn't currently have this functionality, but there are several others that do.
